This is really funny. Well at last one very big driving force in the web is really pushing for the extinction of IE6. I don’t think it’s a grudge or something, it really boils down to practicality. As a web developer, adding support to IE6 really sucks. You have a good clean code, and then you have to add all the work arounds for IE6.
BUT, it’s not that all bad with IE6, in the contrary, I think it is so good during it’s time that a lot of people used it, are still using it. And that is basically the root of the problem. Web technology continues to grow, and IE also continues to grow, there are already IE7 and IE8. It’s just people didn’t bother to upgrade from IE6. Probably that’s how good it is during it’s time that people never really bothered replacing it.
Anyway, farewell IE6. Good memories. Good fun. And whatever other people may say, you were the shit during your time.
What a tough week! What a tough week…
We were working are asses off for five whole days, yes, five whole days. And I’m not talking about regular working hours here, it’s way beyond that. Murphy’s Law is the perfect description of the events this week. Changes in requirements, pressure from the boss, and every tiny moving part in this whole badass project just went wrong. Don’t take me wrong, we got very good people. It’s just that fate seems to really not favor us and toy us with one problem after another.
It’s not all that bad though. I still feel accomplished now that it is done and over with. The activities were a bit exciting, haven’t really worked on something so fast paced in a while. In any case, just glad it’s already weekend. Gonna sleep my way to Monday hehehe

Sometimes though, it still gets me. I’m a programmer, I like things neat and simple. I hate it when people overcomplicate things. Damn, i don’t know where this is all going. Incoherent…. I’m tired.
